Hiring Veterans, military spouses and Wounded Warriors keeps the Exchange relevant because they know our customers because they have been our customers.

Here are three more reasons the Exchange matters now more than ever.

  • Hiring Heroes. The Exchange has hired 39,000 Veterans and military spouses since 2013. Veterans make up 11.8%  of the Exchange’s worldwide workforce. In 2018, the organization reaffirmed its commitment to hiring 50,000 Veterans and military spouses by 2020.

  • Wounded Warriors. The Exchange has hired nearly 1,400 Wounded Warriors since 2010.

  • Moving? Take Your Exchange Job With You. The Exchange employs more than 6,300 military spouses, nearly 22 percent of the Exchange workforce. The spouse continuity program assists military spouses in maintaining a career, often allowing them to retain their job category and benefits during moves.
