Stuart Allison, DeCA senior enlisted advisor<\/a>; Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Army &amp; Air Force Exchange Service senior enlisted advisor; Master Gunnery Sgt. Jose Lopez, Marine Corps Exchange senior enlisted advisor; Master Chief Petty Officer Shannon Howe, Navy Exchange Service Command master chief; and Col. Fred Hannah, chief of staff, Combined Arms Support Command; were the first to swipe their MILITARY STAR cards at Fort Lee\u2019s commissary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing able to use the MILTIARY STAR card at the Commissary is a big win not only for shoppers,\u201d Allison said. \u201cHaving one convenient payment method specifically for military community demonstrates the commitment DeCA and the exchanges have for meeting the needs of service members and families in the most cost-effective way possible to maximize the value of each benefit.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By Nov. 9, the card\u2019s acceptance will be expanded throughout DeCA for all branches of service.
