DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is offering special giveaways for military shoppers to start the weekend on a high note with\u00a0Free Fridays on Facebook<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Authorized military shoppers worldwide who comment on the Exchange\u2019s Free Friday post<\/a> each Friday at Facebook.com\/ShopMyExchange<\/a> will be automatically entered to win a variety of trending products including cookware, rugs, dining sets, mattresses, appliances, power tools and more.<\/p>\n

\u201cFree Fridays are an amazing way for the military community to maximize Exchange benefits,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Rich Martinez, the Exchange\u2019s senior enlisted advisor. \u201cWe are thrilled to celebrate our community throughout the year by offering these prizes to shoppers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Exchange has given away more than $4,500 in prizes so far in 2025. In 2024, shoppers won nearly $18,000 in prizes including bedding, kitchenware, grills, furniture sets and more. Free Friday winners from military communities have taken home more than $100,000 in prizes since 2017.<\/p>\n

Lisa Travis, a Marine Corps spouse, took home an Even Embers 5-burner Stainless Steel Gas Grill valued at $449 in 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a fantastic surprise to win the grill from the Exchange Free Friday contest,\u201d Travis said. \u201cWe just moved into a new home. The timing was perfect, and I\u2019m super grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Free Friday giveaways are open to all authorized Exchange shoppers 18 and older, including honorably discharged Veterans, Department of Defense and Coast Guard civilians, and retirees.<\/p>\n

All comments made on the Free Friday Facebook post by 11:59 p.m. Central time on the day of the post will be entered. Winners will be randomly selected and notified by Facebook message from the verified\u00a0Facebook.com\/ShopMyExchange<\/a>\u00a0account and\/or email from\u00a0socialmedia@aafes.com<\/a>.
