\"\"DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is throwing a bone to military pets and their owners this holiday season with the Holiday Pet Photo Contest.<\/p>\n

Through Dec. 22, authorized Exchange shoppers can submit a photo of their pet dressed in holiday attire or with Santa. Two grand-prize winners will each fetch a $1,000 shopping spree and eight runners up will receive a $500 Exchange gift card.<\/p>\n

\u201cPets play a huge role in the lives of families,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, the Exchange\u2019s senior enlisted advisor. \u201cThis contest is a great way for families to share their furry and sometimes scaly friends with the world and maybe win a little extra holiday shopping money as well.\u201d<\/p>\n

To participate in the contest, military shoppers can log onto https:\/\/www.shopmyexchange.com\/sweepstakes\/sweepstakes-Holiday-Pet-Photo<\/a> to submit their photo. Winners will be notified no later than Dec. 30.<\/p>\n
