The program lets Soldiers apply their daily meal entitlement toward select items at participating Exchange restaurants on post, giving them another way to eat beyond the dining facility.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a pharmacy specialist, it\u2019s hard to access the DFAC,\u201d said Spc. Marc Jahchan. \u201cHaving a program such as this available where we can use our CAC nearby instead of a specific facility makes it much easier to continue day-to-day activities due to proximity and convenience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Military dietitians review and approve every FEED menu item. At Starbucks, for instance, Soldiers can choose from several meals such as a turkey bacon, cheddar and egg white sandwich with avocado spread, apple juice or milk.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSoldiers work long, unpredictable hours, and a meal plan should fit around their mission, not the other way around,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Angela Holden, the Exchange\u2019s senior enlisted advisor. \u201cFEED puts familiar Exchange restaurants to work for Fort Hood\u2019s Soldiers, offering convenient choices that still meet the nutrition standards they need to stay ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Social media-friendly version: <\/strong>FEED has arrived at Fort Hood!
