\"\"FORT MEADE \u2013 <\/strong>Soldiers and families at Fort Meade helped the Army & Air Force Exchange Service celebrate the grand opening of Qdoba Mexican Eats at the Exchange food court on Feb. 15.<\/p>\n

Garrison Commander Col. Thomas S. Rickard; Garrison Command Sgt. Maj. Brian S. Cullen; Exchange General Manager Joanne Cahalan; Exchange Food Court Manager Anne Chester; Gary Rose, Exchange Eastern Region food program specialist; and Pamela Hutto, Exchange restaurant program manager; cut the ribbon on the new restaurant<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI remember eating at Qdoba when I was in college, so when I saw that it was coming to the Exchange I couldn\u2019t wait<\/a>,\u201d said Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Nicole Roach, United States Africa Command. \u201cI don\u2019t eat meat, so it\u2019s good to have the option where I can order veggies, rice and other things. They have great customer service\u2014a good experience and very quick.\u201d<\/p>\n

Qdoba offers tacos, burritos, burrito bowls, nachos, tortilla soup, quesadillas and fresh-made guacamole. Dishes can be made with better-for-you ingredients, including fresh vegetables, whole-wheat tortillas and grilled chicken.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Exchange is honored to bring another high-quality, name-brand dining option to the Soldiers and families at Fort Meade,\u201d Cahalan said. \u201cThe opening of Qdoba strengthens our goal to make the Fort Meade Exchange a one-stop shopping, dining and entertainment destination.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Exchange is dedicated to helping service members fuel a BE FIT lifestyle. All of the Exchange\u2019s more than 1,700 restaurants, including Boston Market, Arby\u2019s, Subway and more, offer better-for-you menu choices to support Warfighters\u2019 readiness and resiliency. Exchange shoppers can also enjoy $2 off entr\u00e9e salads at participating Exchange restaurants\u2014including Qdoba\u2014every Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Qdoba is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays. The Exchange food court is at 2799 Rose St. For more information, call 410-305-4003.<\/p>\n
