DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>For the second straight year, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service drove home with the Pride & Polish Best in Show People\u2019s Choice award<\/a> at the\u00a0annual Great American Trucking Show.<\/p>\n

\"\"Bradley Wacks, an Exchange motor vehicle operator who was recently inducted into the National Private Truck Council\u2019s Driver Hall of Fame, accepted the award on behalf of the Department of Defense\u2019s largest retailer during a ceremony Aug. 25 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. The trucking show attracts thousands of visitors, who vote for their favorite tractor-trailer on display.<\/p>\n

The Exchange\u2019s winning truck<\/a> salutes our Nation\u2019s Veterans and serves as a rolling billboard, reminding all who served honorably that they can now shop their military exchanges online at ShopMyExchange.com\u2014tax-free for life with military-exclusive pricing.<\/p>\n

\u201cWinning Best in Show is a tremendous accomplishment,\u201d said Col. Douglas Vallejo, the Exchange\u2019s deputy director for Logistics. \u201cThis truck\u2014and this award\u2014is dedicated to all of those who serve and sacrifice. It is truly a privilege to \u2018Go Where You Go.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The truck also won second place in the Combo, New Truck category in the Pride & Polish class judging. The Pride & Polish competition honors excellence and creativity in the trucking industry. This is the third year the Exchange has participated in the contest and show, which is in its 19th year.<\/p>\n

The winning truck will soon hit the road, bringing merchandise to Exchanges throughout the upper Midwest.<\/p>\n
