\"\"DALLAS<\/strong> \u2013 The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is helping Warfighters and their families stick to a holiday shopping budget by expanding its layaway program to include computers and laptops.<\/p>\n

Through Dec. 15, Soldiers, Airmen and other military shoppers can use the Exchange\u2019s fee-free holiday layaway for computers, notebooks, tablets and iPads<\/a>\u2014items that are not typically eligible for the program.<\/p>\n

\u201cLaptops and notebooks are often at the top of loved ones\u2019 wish lists,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. \u201cThe Exchange\u2019s expanded layaway program keeps budgets in check and safely hides gifts from prying eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n

A deposit of 15 percent is required to hold items. Items must be paid for and picked up by Dec. 15. Shoppers can visit customer service at their local Exchange for complete details.<\/p>\n
