\"\"DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>Soldiers and families at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., were the first to taste-test Slim Chickens at a military installation.<\/p>\n

The Army & Air Force Exchange Service welcomed Slim Chickens<\/a>\u2014known for grilled and fried chicken tenders, wings, wraps, sandwiches and salads\u2014to its family of restaurants on March 13. The restaurant makes every order fresh and features 17 house dipping sauces.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Exchange continually works to bring name-brand restaurants to our service members,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, the Exchange\u2019s senior enlisted advisor. \u201cAdding new restaurants like Slim Chickens means more variety for the Fort Leonard Wood community.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Exchange is scheduled to open a second Slim Chickens at Fort Hood, Texas, in the fall and a third location at Joint Base San Antonio next year.<\/p>\n
