\"\"DALLAS\u2014<\/strong>The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is offering a warm welcome\u2014<\/strong>and a bite to eat \u2013 <\/strong>to visitors, Department of Defense contractors and civilians at its restaurants and Express locations.<\/p>\n

The Exchange\u2019s more than 1,700 quick-serve restaurants and 330 Expresses worldwide are open for anyone with installation access to dine-in or pick up grab-and-go fare as long as the items are consumed on the installation (the lone exception being locations in Korea, where authorized civilian visitors and workers are permitted to dine-in Exchange restaurants, but not purchase items at Express locations).<\/p>\n

\u201cAlong with serving Airmen, Soldiers and their families, the Exchange is pleased to offer food and refreshments to civilian visitors and workers,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange\u2019s senior enlisted advisor. \u201cAll are welcome to dine with us or grab a quick bite\u2014no need to leave the installation for meals.\u201d<\/p>\n

All of the Exchange\u2019s restaurants offer better-for-you menu choices featuring reduced-calorie entrees. The Exchange carries more than 400 BE FIT-approved items, including fresh fruit, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, nuts, bottled water and more. Healthier Choices, Healthier Lifestyle shelf tags easily identify these items at Express locations.<\/p>\n

Guidelines on who is authorized to use Exchange operations are prescribed by Army Regulation 215-8\/Air Force Instruction 34-211 (I)<\/a> and the Armed Services Exchange Regulations, Department of Defense Instruction 1330.21.<\/a><\/p>\n
