\u00a0<\/strong>DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>With 85% of its workforce connected to the military, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is a true example of family serving family. As such, the focus on Thanksgiving Day will be on family and most Exchanges will be closed.<\/p>\n

Military shoppers can gobble up the savings online at ShopMyExchange.com on Thanksgiving Day at midnight Central Standard Time. On Black Friday, online sales start at midnight CST, and Exchange doors will open at 6 a.m. in the United States<\/a>, 8 a.m. in Europe and 7 a.m. in the Pacific region (except Guam and Hawaii which will open at 5 a.m. and 6 a.m., respectively).<\/p>\n

\u201cAs part of the military community, the Exchange understands that time with family, for both customers and associates, is a priority,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. \u201cBeing closed on Thanksgiving allows shoppers to give thanks with friends and family and still partake in the savings online that day or bright and early in person on Black Friday.\u201d<\/p>\n

Some service members will have access to convenience items on Thanksgiving Day, as about 140 Express locations will be open worldwide. Shoppers can contact their local Exchange or check their Exchange\u2019s Facebook page for information on their local Express.<\/p>\n

Facebook-Friendly Version<\/strong>: Most Exchange main stores will be closed on Thanksgiving to allow associates to focus on family. Great deals will be available online at ShopMyExchange.com on Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday beginning at 12 a.m. Central Standard Time. Many Express locations will continue to serve the military community on the holiday.<\/p>\n
