FORT BLISS \u2013 <\/strong>Soldiers and their families can satisfy their sweet tooths with a visit to Nestle Toll House Caf\u00e9 by Chip, which celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony<\/a> June 4 at Fort Bliss.<\/p>\n

Nestle Toll House Caf\u00e9 by Chip offers hot drinks and snacks such as cookies, cupcakes and ice cream made fresh every day.<\/p>\n

\u201cQuality of life at Fort Bliss is already among the very best DoD-wide, and we continue striving to make it even better,\u201d said. Col. Stu James, Fort Bliss garrison commander. \u201cWith the grand opening of the Caf\u00e9, we\u2019ve taken another positive step toward ensuring our community has all the conveniences of a small city.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fort Bliss Exchange General Manager Michael Brennan helped cut the ribbon, along with Fort Bliss Command Sgt. Maj. Gerardo Gonzalez and Nestle\u2019s concessionaire owner Milap Manier.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur Soldiers and their families deserve to indulge themselves from time to time, given their hectic schedules,\u201d Brennan said. \u201cThe Exchange welcomes another option in support of our military community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nestle Toll House Caf\u00e9 by Chip is in Freedom Crossing, 1613 Pleasanton Road, and is open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday.<\/p>\n
