\u00a0\"\"DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>Army & Air Force Exchange Service shoppers can put green on their plates while keeping some green in their wallets with Salad Wednesdays at their Exchange food court.<\/p>\n

Every Wednesday, diners can take $2 off any salad priced $4 or more<\/a> at participating Exchange direct-operated restaurants. Salad Wednesday is part of the Exchange\u2019s BE FIT initiative, designed to promote healthy lifestyles for Soldiers, Airmen, retirees and military families.<\/p>\n

\u201cEating healthy is essential to not only force readiness and resiliency but the development of healthy, happy military children,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, the Exchange\u2019s senior enlisted advisor. \u201cThe Exchange wants to help military families get the nutrition they need\u2014without breaking the bank.\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to Salad Wednesday savings, diners who use their MILITARY STAR card will receive the everyday additional 10 percent discount at Exchange restaurants.<\/p>\n

Exchange restaurants are open to anyone \u2013 whether military, civil service, contractor or visitor \u2013 per Army Regulation 215-8 and Air Force Instruction 34-211 (I).<\/p>\n
