\"PhotoFORT HOOD <\/strong>\u2013 The Army & Air Force Exchange Service unveiled its new Bath & Body Works store at Fort Hood\u2019s Clear Creek Shopping Center<\/a> on Dec. 17, just in time for Soldiers and military families to stock up on fragrant gifts for the holidays.<\/p>\n

Fort Hood is home to only the third Bath & Body Works on an Army or Air Force installation \u2014Fort Lewis and Ramstein Air Base are home to the others.<\/p>\n

Fort Hood Garrison Commander Col. Chad Foster helped Fort Hood Exchange leaders cut the ribbon on the store, which offers bath and skin-care products, fragrances, candles and more.<\/p>\n

More than 140 shoppers Fort Hood lined up to be the first to browse the store and participate in the giveaways.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was super excited when I found out we were getting a Bath & Body Works,\u201d said Kasaya Hansberry, a military brat shopping the store. \u201cI don\u2019t have to go off post. I\u2019m getting Christmas gifts today\u2014this is perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n

The addition of Bath & Body Works is part of a plan to improve the shopping center as the Exchange works to improve the quality of life for the military community at Fort Hood.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Exchange is committed to improving the shopping experience for the Fort Hood community,\u201d said Fort Hood Exchange General Manager Chris Haefner. \u201cThe addition of Bath & Body Works at Fort Hood is part of the Exchange\u2019s quality of life improvement strategy\u2013 bringing trustworthy and valued brands to the military community.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"PhotoRecent enhancements to the shopping experience at Fort Hood include the addition of Freshens to the TJ Mills Food Court and TOP TIER™ fuel from Valero at Express gas stations.\u00a0 Early next year, an additional micro market is planned in the Soldiers First Center.<\/p>\n

Shopping and dining with the Exchange benefits Warfighters and military families, as 100% of Exchange earnings support the community. In the last 10 years, the Exchange has provided $3.4 billion in earnings for critical military Quality-of-Life programs.<\/p>\n

Bath & Body Works is in the Clear Creek Exchange shopping center at Clear Creek Blvd., Building 4250. It\u2019s open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, call 254-532-7200 ext. 0.<\/p>\n
