LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE <\/strong>\u2013 The Army & Air Force Exchange Service\u2019s senior enlisted advisor is ensuring Los Angeles Air Force Base Airmen and Guardians have what they need to stay ready and resilient.<\/p>\n

During his visit to Los Angeles AFB, Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby toured Exchange facilities and met with Space Base Delta 3 Deputy Commander Lt. Col. Brian Vance on Feb. 9 to discuss how the Department of Defense retailer can improve the quality of life for the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Exchange is all in to make Los Angeles Air Force Base a great place to work and live,\u201d said Osby, one of about 30 active-duty service members assigned to the Exchange. \u201cWe\u2019re committed to expanding and improving our services and options to best serve the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Among the improvement efforts, the Exchange Starbucks recently updated its register system, so Airmen, Guardians and families can place mobile orders through the Starbucks app and earn Starbucks Rewards. In the coming months, shoppers will see a self-checkout option at the Exchange.<\/p>\n

Every time service members shop their Exchange\u2014whether in person or at ShopMyExchange.com<\/a>\u2014they are strengthening their community. 100% of Exchange earnings are reinvested in the military community through funding for critical Quality-of-Life programs, as well as capital improvements. In the last 10 years, the Exchange worldwide has contributed $3.5 billion in earnings.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt matters where you shop,\u201d Osby said. \u201cSmall changes can make a big difference in a community. The Exchange is passionate about enhancing the quality of life for our heroes.\u201d<\/p>\n

During his visit, Osby also thanked Exchange associates for their dedicated service.<\/p>\n

The Exchange is committed to hiring heroes. Since 2013, the Exchange worldwide has hired more than 56,000 Veterans and military spouses and aims to increase that to 75,000 by 2026.<\/p>\n
