\"\"KEESLER AIR FORCE BASE \u2013<\/strong> The Army & Air Force Exchange Service presented a Kawasaki KX™250F motorcycle to a lucky Exchange shopper on Aug. 19 at the Keesler Air Force Base Exchange.<\/p>\n

National Guard Spc. Anthony Clark, winner of the Exchange\u2019s Monster Kawasaki sweepstakes<\/a>, was joined by Col. Danny Davis, Commander, 81st Mission Support Group; Chief Master Sgt. Derick Stepp, 81st Mission Support Group; Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange Senior Enlisted Advisor; Greg Hall, Exchange general manager; and Rick Evans, Exchange store manager for a presentation ceremony at the Keesler Exchange main store.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to ride freestyle motocross when I was younger with my dad,\u201d Clark said. \u201cHe had to sell it to pay the bills, and I swore I\u2019d own another dirt bike one day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark, who served for three-and-a-half years in the U.S. Army before transitioning to the Guard, said he was selected at random from more than 16,000 shoppers who entered the sweepstakes between April 15 and May 31.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was shocked,\u201d Clark said. \u201cI honestly didn\u2019t think it was real at first.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark said he plans to sell the motorcycle to his friend, semi-pro motocross racer Cody Sorg, to help further his career.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s not big yet, but he\u2019s about to be,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Reyes said it is an honor to hand the motorcycle over to Clark.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Exchange is privileged to serve extraordinary service members,\u201d Reyes said. \u201cAt the Exchange, Our Customers Are Heroes, and Spc. Clark is no exception. We\u2019re honored to present him with this prize.\u201d<\/p>\n
