Exchange’s First Raising Cane’s Opens at Fort Bliss
Military Caniacs rejoice: the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s first Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers opened for business Oct. 6 at Fort Bliss, Texas.
The restaurant, known for its fresh chicken fingers, Texas toast, secret recipe Cane’s sauce, coleslaw, crinkle-cut fries and more, was brought to Fort Bliss through a concession agreement with the Exchange.
“The Exchange is honored to bring yet another popular name brand to Fort Bliss,” said Fort Bliss Exchange General Manager Michael Brennan. “We serve the best customers in the world, and we hope this new yet familiar brand makes Soldiers and their families feel more at home during their stay at Bliss.”
The Exchange oversees more than 1,700 restaurants at military installations worldwide. As an Exchange concession, the Fort Bliss Raising Cane’s is not operated directly by the Exchange but a third-party franchisee.
The location features a full dining room, however it is currently offering drive-thru service only due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The restaurant will also begin offering takeout service in mid-October.
