OPERATION: Call Out—Western Region
Western Region recognizes Ayla Hunt, Humberto “Tito” Rivera and Patricia Hoyle for their outstanding hard work and unwavering dedication to our customers.
Ayla has been a dedicated vendor partner with the Exchange for the last 20 years. She provides excellent customer service and quality Turkish imports that have her customers returning for more. She continues to broaden her assortment by listening to what her customers want. We can always count on Ayla for supporting the hospital with seasonal pop-ups. Her Mother’s Day pop-up generated $8,500 in sales during her eight-day setup and offers convenience to customers located on the north end of the base. Ayla consistently ranks in the top five for roving concessions ,with sales averaging $18,000 a month. Her dedication and support are assets to the Nellis community and the Exchange.
Tito has been our “go-to” man of the year. He ensures we have all the tools, fixtures and seasonal gondolas up when we need them, allowing us to go from Valentine’s Day to an amazing Easter display, and then to an awesome Fun in the Sun area. He is a team player who works well with everyone on JBLM. Tito works on keeping our fixture warehouse crisp and clean for the easy fixture and equipment location that we need periodically throughout the year. He also works to help in the Power Zone and the Outdoor Living departments, helping to load customer purchases into their vehicles. Tito is a true representative of “One Team, One Fight!”
Patricia has been a foreman at American Eatery since its first day of sales in 2006. Her customer base is unique in that she serves and engages with a variety of branches of the service , including high-ranking general officers and civilian personnel in the Space Force community. Customers love and appreciate her and her staff for the excellent service they provide. Patricia leads a team that is very close-knit and understands the needs of their guests. She is truly a wonder in the sense that every time a new group tours the facility, they often comment, “How do they do it?” The relationship she has built with her customers is a great value to Peterson AFB and the Exchange.
