Judith and Enrico Margaroli, Aaron Castaneda and Adrian Fernandez are truly outstanding associates who are passionate about enhancing the customer experience. We are honored to have them represent Central Region.

Judith and Enrico Margaroli
A Cut Above German Food Truck Owners
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base

The Cut Above Duo has been serving the workforce on Wright-Patterson AFB, Mansfield Air National Guard, Defense Supply Center Columbus and Rickenbacker ANG for the past six years. Airmen and contractor support and feedback have led them to be one of our most-loved trucks! They routinely set up in different locations four days a week. They are happy to serve our Airmen and base contractors. Judith and Enrico provide support around the base for different special events, and they are a lunchtime staple for the Wright-Patterson Exchange customers. They continually donate any tips from ALL events to different charities, including Wounded Warriors, women’s shelters, areas affected by natural disasters, and so much more. The Cut Above team is happy to provide exceptional customer service 100% of the time to our Airmen and base contractors, and it shows.

Aaron Castaneda
Stockroom–Motor Vehicle Operator
Joint Base San Antonio–Fort Sam Houston

Aaron has been our motor vehicle operator for three years and he is tasked with completing deliveries to multiple facilities on Fort Sam Houston, as well as transferring merchandise to facilities in the surrounding area. He constantly comes to work with a go-getter attitude and can be counted on to go wherever he is needed, which is very important since Fort Sam Houston services four remote locations: Laughlin Air Force Base 150 miles to the west, Camp Mabry about 80 miles to the northeast, Camp Bullis about 30 miles northwest and Ellington Field about 210 miles east. Often, Aaron will adjust his schedule at the last minute to deliver much-needed merchandise to our outlying facilities, ensuring every Soldier and Airman benefits from the Exchange. When there are no deliveries, he will assist the stockers unloading merchandise from our Waco Distribution Center trucks or help the receivers with vendor merchandise. Aaron is truly an asset to the JBSA-Fort Sam Houston stockroom team!

Adrian Fernandez
Starbucks Associate
Fort Leavenworth

Adrian consistently goes above and beyond for customers and teammates alike, daily. He strives to connect with customers, ensuring they not only experience a high level of customer service, but going out of his way to explain the differences in products to ensure they get exactly what they want.  He has received multiple customer comments praising him for his assistance, and for his incredibly welcoming and positive attitude. Adrian also goes above and beyond his job duties, working with leadership to train new associates and accomplishing extra tasks to assist his teammates. He is truly a joy to have as part of the Exchange family and a highly valued member of our team.
