DALLAS<\/b> \u2013 Service members and their families continually make sacrifices. Multiple deployments, long training exercises and constant states of readiness can add to the stress of not just being a servicemember, but a spouse or family member as well. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2014, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service <\/span>is joining military communities around the world to celebrate the homecoming of America\u2019s brave warfighters by hosting a yearlong <\/span>\u201cHomeward Bound\u201d campaign<\/a> to honor those who serve.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe understand the hardships and sacrifices military families go through,\u201d said the Exchange\u2019s Chief of Staff Col. Thomas Ockenfels. \u201c2014 will be a year to celebrate the return of so many. The \u2018Homeward Bound\u2019 campaign is our way of saying \u2018thank you\u2019 to service members, and their families, for everything they have done and continue to do.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The \u201cHomeward Bound\u201d campaign will be a year of discounts, contests and great prizes. To kick off the year, shoppers can enter the <\/span>Ashley Furniture giveaway<\/span><\/a> from, Jan. 10 \u2013<\/span><\/span><\/span>Feb. 6. Three winners will receive a room of furniture valued at $1,500 each. To enter, shoppers can \u2018Like\u2019 the Exchange on <\/span>Facebook<\/span><\/a> and follow the contest rules.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to the contest, Ashley furniture will take 15% off any in-store and online item during the contest period.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
