DALLAS \u2013 <\/b>Army & Air Force Exchange Service restaurants are helping Soldiers, Airmen and their families eat healthy while saving money with \u201cSalad Wednesdays.\u201d<\/p>\n

Every Wednesday, guests can take $2 off any salad priced $4 or more at participating Exchange direct-operated restaurants. \u201cSalad Wednesdays\u201d are part of the Exchange\u2019s Operation BEFIT initiative, designed to promote health and wellness.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cSaving money while eating right is good for the body\u2014and the wallet,\u201d said Exchange Senior Enlisted Advisor Chief Master Sgt. Tony Pearson. \u201cThe Exchange wants to do its part by ensuring Soldiers and Airmen have a wide selection of healthy and affordable food.\u201d \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Besides saving $2 on salads each Wednesday, customers who pay with their MILITARY STAR\u00ae<\/sup> card receive an additional 10 percent off at Exchange restaurants.<\/p>\n

Exchange restaurants are open to anyone \u2013 whether military, civil service, contractor or visitor \u2013 per Army <\/i>Regulation 215-8 and Air Force Instruction 34-211 (I).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
