DALLAS \u2013 <\/b>With a quarter of its work force comprised of military family members, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is a true example of family serving family. As such, the focus on Thanksgiving will be on family. <\/b><\/p>\n

\u201cExchange Main Stores in the Continental United States will be closed Thanksgiving, but open early Black Friday to help shoppers find everything they need for the holidays,\u201d said the Exchange\u2019s Chief Merchandising Officer Ana Middleton. \u201cAs part of the military family, we understand how precious time together can be and hope that customers and associates will give thanks on Thursday and go shopping early, at their Exchange, on Friday.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Exchange doors open at 4 a.m. in the United States the day after Thanksgiving, stores in the Pacific region will open at 7 a.m. (except Guam which will open at 5 a.m.), while European Exchanges will welcome shoppers at 8 a.m.<\/p>\n

Service members who are on an installation on Thanksgiving Day will still have access to convenience items as approximately 156 Express locations will be open worldwide. \u00a0In addition, many OCONUS Exchanges will be open on Thanksgiving Day.\u00a0 \u00a0Shoppers can contact their local Exchange for Thanksgiving hours through the \u201cStore Locator\u201d<\/a> link at www.shopmyexchange.com<\/a>. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
