DALLAS \u2013<\/b> The Army & Air Force Exchange Service\u2019s continuing efforts to provide a \u201ctaste of home\u201d to military families around the world were recently recognized by Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at its annual international franchise conference.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Exchange received four awards including the \u201cInternational Gold Plate,\u201d<\/span><\/a> awarded to the Popeyes at Camp Carroll in Korea, and \u201cThe Silver Plate,\u201d awarded to the Popeyes at Camp Casey, also in Korea.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"17138015610_f2d0e28539\"<\/a>\u201cThe International Gold Plate\u201d is presented to one international Popeyes restaurant annually out of a total of more than 2,000 restaurants in 27 international markets.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThis award acknowledges the premier overseas restaurant that excels in operational excellence, community involvement and sales performance,\u201d said the Exchange\u2019s VP of Services and Food Rich Pickering.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe Silver Plate\u201d recognizes overall operations excellence, positive restaurant image and effective usage of franchise training tools.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Exchange Popeyes location at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii took home the \u201cThree Million Dollar Store\u201d award and had the fourth highest sales volume in the Popeyes system worldwide.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Additionally, Exchange Senior Restaurant Program Planner Adrian Hinson was awarded the \u201cServant Leader\u201d trophy for his dedication and devotion to overseeing 74 Popeyes restaurants globally.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIndustry recognition confirms our ability to deliver hometown dining experiences to troops and their families, regardless of where they are called to serve,\u201d said Pickering. \u201cWinning these awards speaks volumes about the dedication and hard work put in daily by the Exchange\u2019s Popeyes restaurants, managers and their team members.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
