DALLAS \u2013 <\/b>Soldiers and Airmen wanting to eat right and save money can turn to the Army & Air Force Exchange Service for \u201cSalad Wednesday.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\"FortBliss4\"<\/a>Every Wednesday, diners can take $2 off any salad priced $4 or more at participating Exchange direct-operated restaurants. \u201cSalad Wednesday\u201d is part of the Exchange\u2019s BE FIT initiative, designed to promote healthy lifestyles for Soldiers, Airmen, retirees and military families.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe \u2018Salad Wednesday\u2019 discount helps military diners put some green on their plate\u2014and keep some green in their wallet,\u201d said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Sean Applegate, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. \u201cThe Exchange works to ensure Soldiers, Airmen and families have access to meals that taste good and are good for them, too.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to \u201cSalad Wednesday\u201d savings, diners who use their MILITARY STAR card will receive an additional 10 percent discount at Exchange restaurants.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Exchange restaurants are open to anyone \u2013 whether military, civil service, contractor or visitor \u2013 per Army Regulation 215-8 and Air Force Instruction 34-211 (I).\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
