\"cmsgt-luis-reyes\"DALLAS \u2013<\/strong> The Army & Air Force Exchange Service recently welcomed Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes<\/a>, who took over duties as the organization\u2019s Senior Enlisted Advisor.<\/p>\n

As the Senior Enlisted Advisor, Reyes serves as the focal point for communication between Exchange leadership and Army and Air Force active duty, Guard, Reserve, family members and retirees, as he visits installations worldwide to present updates on Exchange activities and provide feedback on issues affecting customers.<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing selected for this position at the Exchange allows me the opportunity to take care of Airmen, Soldiers and their families,\u201d Reyes said. \u201c\u2018We go where you go\u2019 is not just a motto, it\u2019s something we truly believe in and I want to ensure all our customers are aware of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Reyes grew up in Newark, N.J, and joined the Air Force in May 1997. He has held a variety of Communications assignments and deployed in support of various operations. Reyes earned an associate degree in Information Systems Management from the Community College of the Air Force as well as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management and Master of Science in Information Management Technology, both from Grantham University in Kansas.<\/p>\n

In his most recent assignment before joining the Exchange, Reyes served as Squadron Superintendent, 690th Cyberspace Operations Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii.<\/p>\n

Reyes replaced Chief Master Sgt. Sean Applegate, who retired in 2016 after 27 years of military service.<\/p>\n
