Tinker Exchange Opens to Rave Reviews<\/strong><\/p>\n

DALLAS \u2013 <\/strong>With a simple cutting of a ribbon<\/a> at Tinker AFB Sept. 17, a new Exchange experience<\/a> began with the unveiling of a new brand and store concept. With the launch of the new retail concept, military shoppers immediately began enjoying a world-class experience, with first weekend sales 133 percent above the same period last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe couldn\u2019t be prouder of this new look and are excited about unveiling it in the future at Exchanges around the world,\u201d said the Exchange Commander Maj. Gen. Bruce Casella. \u201cThis facility is setting the standard for future generations and, based on the number of excited shoppers in its first weekend, is definitely a hit with the Tinker community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tinker shoppers were welcomed to a store boasting fresh new colors, textures and graphics with a new layout divided into three major merchandise worlds \u2013 Home, Life and Style. In addition, the customer service section was moved to the front of the store to offer expert service immediately upon entry.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis store is a dramatic improvement over what we had before,\u201d said Tech Sgt. Mike Morris. \u201cThe aisles are much wider, the way the store is divided up makes it much easier to find what you\u2019re looking for. This is really, really nice. Well worth the wait, that\u2019s for sure.\u201d<\/p>\n\t
