Fort Campbell Courier: Exchange reopens Ky. Express with new amenities

The Fort Campbell Army and Air Force Exchange Service reopened one of its busiest shoppettes after 75 days of renovations and improvements.

The total renovation cost of the Kentucky Express was about $597,000.

“AAFES is one of our phenomenal partners that exists to serve Soldiers and Families,” said Jonathan B. Hunter, deputy to the garrison commander.

The renovations of the Kentucky Express, located at the corner of Bastogne Avenue and Reed Road, included repositioned cash registers to increase efficiency and check put speed, new finishes to the counters and fixtures, a polished concrete floor, upgraded food and drink stations and the introduction of Hunt Brothers Pizza.
