DALLAS – MILITARY STAR® savings are getting even better for service members and their families. From Aug. 17 through 30, new accountholders will receive 15 percent off their first day’s purchases instead of the 10 percent discount regularly offered. Discount will appear as a credit on the customer’s first monthly billing statement.
Customers can save on MILITARY STAR purchases at Army & Air Force Exchange facilities, ShopMyExchange.com, Coast Guard exchanges, ShopCGX.com and select Morale, Welfare and Recreation locations. This includes Armed Forces Recreation Center resort destinations: Dragon Hill Lodge in Seoul, South Korea; Hale Koa Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii; Edelweiss Lodge and Resort in southern Germany; and Shades of Green in Orlando, Fla.
“MILITARY STAR provides a significant value to the military community,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor. “This limited time offer is a great chance for Airmen, Soldiers and their families to take advantage of the exclusive savings and benefits.”
Other benefits of the MILITARY STAR card include:
- Two points per dollar on purchases, and a $20 gift card after 2,000 points earned.
- The lowest flat-rate APR (11.99 percent) among store cards—rate is offered to all cardholders.
- No annual, late or over-limit fees.
- Reduced-interest deployment plan with no payments required for eligible customers.
The MILITARY STAR card is administered by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service and is accepted at all military exchanges and commissaries. For more information, visit MyECP.com.
