DALLAS – Throughout the year, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service hosts in-store events to build relationships and nurture a sense of belonging for Soldiers, Airmen, retirees and their families.
“More than 85 percent of Exchange associates are personally connected to the military,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. “Encouraging and supporting the military community are priorities for the Exchange as they serve the best customers in the world.”
This fall, military families can look forward to Exchange events such as Disney’s Dream Big, Princess; Hasbro Collectibles; and Transformers Time Trials. Shoppers can contact their local Exchange for event schedules and details.
During 2017, the Exchange:
- Partnered with the Vietnam War Commemoration to distribute free lapel pins to Vietnam Veterans.
- Supported BE FIT Healthy Lifestyles Festivals with commissaries.
- Celebrated the sacrifices of military kids with Military Brat patch giveaways.
- Helped shoppers look and feel their best with beauty events.
“Exchange events bring value, meaning and fun to military families,” Reyes said. “The Exchange is a gathering place for the community. By joining us for in-store events, Airmen and Soldiers, especially those serving far from loved ones back home, can find a lasting connection.”
