Military Shoppers Can Double Up on MILITARY STAR Rewards Points Oct. 28

DALLAS – For MILITARY STAR® shoppers, it’s no tricks and twice the treat with double rewards points Oct. 28.

Military shoppers who use their MILITARY STAR card at any exchange or commissary on Oct. 28 will receive four points per $1, instead of the usual two points. For every 2,000 points earned, cardholders receive a $20 rewards card that can be redeemed anywhere an exchange gift card is accepted.

“The rewards program is one of the ways MILITARY STAR adds value for shoppers,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Luis Reyes, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. “Cardholders can get their next reward even faster by shopping on Oct. 28.”

Purchases made at all military exchanges, commissaries, ShopMyExchange.com, myNavyExchange.com, ShopCGX.com and Exchange mall vendors qualify for double points Oct. 28.

Last year, shoppers earned $34.6 million in MILITARY STAR rewards cards.

Other benefits of the MILITARY STAR card include:

  • The lowest flat-rate APR (11.99%) among store cards—rate is offered to all cardholders upon account approval.
  • No annual, late or over-limit fees.
  • Reduced-interest deployment plan with no payments required for eligible customers.
