LUKE AIR FORCE BASE – The Army & Air Force Exchange Service is helping members of the Luke Air Force Base community get hands-on help from licensed chiropractors without setting foot outside the gate.
56th Mission Support Group Commander Col. Anthony Mullinax helped cut the ribbon on The Joint Chiropractic on Jan. 12.
“The Luke BX is honored to become the first Exchange offering chiropractic care in support of our military community,” said Luke AFB Exchange General Manager Sarah Park. “This latest addition to our health and wellness lineup brings us closer to our goal of making the Exchange the one-stop shop for everything the Luke community needs to lead a BE FIT lifestyle.”
Joining DOCS Dental and the Exchange optometry shop, the chiropractic clinic is the latest medical service the Exchange offers at Luke AFB under its holistic BE FIT program.
“The Exchange is committed to supporting Quality of Life for military communities,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, Exchange senior enlisted advisor. “Bringing this new health and wellness service to Luke AFB strengthens our enduring mission to support the communities we serve with the services they need.”
The Joint’s Luke AFB location offers members of the Luke community—including disabled Veterans eligible to shop at Exchanges and Department of Defense and Coast Guard civilians—walk-in consultations, exams and adjustments, with no appointments or insurance required.
The Joint is the largest operator of chiropractic clinics in the U.S. The brand’s second Exchange location, at MacDill AFB, is scheduled to open this month, with a third slated for February at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Additional clinics are expected to open at more Army and Air Force installations throughout 2022.
The introduction of chiropractic clinics further strengthens the Exchange’s BE FIT program, which also nourishes Warfighters and their families with better-for-you meal and snack options at Exchange restaurants and Expresses and brings tax-free fitness apparel, accessories and footwear at Exchange stores and ShopMyExchange.com.
The Joint Chiropractic is located at 7123 N. 138th Ave., Bldg. 1552, between the alterations shop and Military Clothing store. The clinic is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1:45 to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. For more information, call 623-248-1744.
