DALLAS – The Fort Sill Consolidated Exchange has been named among the best in the world, receiving the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s highest honor, the Director/CEO Cup.

The Fort Sill Consolidated Exchange—which encompasses retail stores, Expresses, specialty stores, Military Clothing stores, theaters, restaurants and more at Fort Sill, Sheppard Air Force Base and Altus Air Force Base—was recognized for its exceptional service to the military community during the Department of Defense retailer’s managers’ conference in Frisco, Texas.

Sheppard AFB’s 82nd Training Wing and Installation Commander Brig. Gen. Lyle Drew, Fort Sill Garrison Commander Col. James Peay and Altus AFB’s 97th Air Mobility Wing Commander Col. Blaine Baker all wrote letters in support of the Fort Sill Consolidated Exchange’s nomination.

“The Sheppard AFB Exchange’s exceptional support provided to this community deserves recognition,” Drew wrote. “Over the past year, the Sheppard AFB Exchange consistently supported the student, permanent party, government civilian, dependent and retiree population of Sheppard AFB and North Texas, an understated feat.”
