FORT BELVOIR – The Army & Air Force Exchange Service presented Air Force Veteran Robert Jack II, of Mineral, Virginia, with the grand prize of the Monster Energy Ultimate Toy Hauler sweepstakes on Nov. 8.
Jack’s winnings, valued at $145,000, include a 2024 Heartland Torque T256 travel trailer, a customized Ford F-150 Super Crew XLT pick-up truck, a Kawasaki Brute Force 300 all-terrain vehicle and a $10,000 American Express gift card.
Fort Belvoir Exchange General Manager Kim Neiss welcomed Jack and his family to the store to receive the prize.
“The Exchange is thrilled to offer this ‘monster’ prize to a deserving member of the military community,” said Neiss. “The winner of this sweepstakes can ride in comfort and style on their next adventure.”
Jack was selected from thousands of entries submitted nationwide. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1973 and served for six years active duty. Jack also served in the Ohio National Guard and Air Force Reserve, retiring in 2000 with 24 years of military service. He retired as a civilian deputy chief information officer in 2014.
“I am ecstatic the Exchange and its vendors partner together to help our military families, especially during these economic times,” Jack said. “I’ve never won anything before, so we’re going through the shock and awe of such a thing.”
In addition to the grand prize winner, 100 runners-up each received a $50 Exchange gift card, allowing more members of the military community to take part of the generous sweepstakes.
