USAG YONGSAN-CASEY – The Korea Northern Exchange is among the best in the world, earning the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s highest honor, the Director/CEO Cup.
Director/CEO Brad Bingham, President and Chief Operating Officer Marla Randolph and Senior Enlisted Advisor Chief Master Sgt. Rich Martinez presented the award to Korea Northern Exchange leaders during the Department of War retailer’s managers conference June 28.
The Korea Northern Exchange is a vital hub, supporting the community through partner events with AER, Red Cross Blood Drive and more. Exchange managers also attended garrison meetings to keep the community informed on upgrades and store events.
The Korea Northern Exchange earned the award for its strong customer service, commitment to associate development and support of the military community. All facilities in the food court received scores above 90% on health inspections.
“I have such pride in the Korea Northern team and their commitment to the Exchange mission,” Korea Northern Exchange General Manager Bryan Smith said. “Their dedication is evident in everything they do. They approach their work with purpose, pride and a clear focus on serving those who serve. That commitment strengthens our operations and helps enhance the morale and well-being of the military community.”
The Director/CEO Cup is awarded to one Exchange in each size category (small, medium, large and mega). The winners were selected based on evaluation of customer experience, leadership, business results, marketing efforts and community presence. The Korea Northern Exchange was the winner in the medium category.
