MACDILL AIR FORCE BASE – The military community now has convenient access to braces, mobility devices, maternity care and other durable medical equipment (DME) at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s new Janz Medical Supply store at MacDill Air Force Base.
Airmen, retirees and families, as well as Veterans with service-connected disabilities, can find medical equipment such as CPAP supplies, breast pump supplies, walkers, scooters and more at Janz, which celebrated its new store in the Exchange mall with a grand opening April 14.
“Having a DME shop is a great resource for the MacDill Air Force Base community,” said MacDill Exchange General Manager James Clark. “We have a lot of families here, as well as a large retiree population, and Janz helps fulfill the Exchange mission of making life better for the military community.”
Clark and MacDill Exchange Services Business Manager Sherri Samudio helped cut the ribbon, along with Col. Jason Loschinskey, commander of the 6th Mission Support Group; Col. Josef Doenges, chief of medical staff at MacDill Air Force Base; and John Endres of Janz Corp.
