Army & Air Force Exchange Service Welcomes Tropical Smoothie Cafe to Fort Belvoir

FORT BELVOIR – Soldiers and their families can refresh with better-for-you options at Tropical Smoothie Café, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s newest restaurant at Fort Belvoir.

Tropical Smoothie Café fits the Exchange’s BE FIT lifestyle by offering fresh fruits and vegetables in smoothies, along with better-for-you meals such as salads, bowls and wraps with veggies, hummus and chicken.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe Fort BelvoirIt is the sixth location operated by the Exchange. The first opened at Fort Gordon in 2019.

“Having a variety of snack and dining options like Tropical Smoothie Café helps improve the quality of life at Fort Belvoir,” said Fort Belvoir Exchange Services Business Manager Veronica Reese. “The Exchange is pleased to offer more healthy choices for our Soldiers to help them stay fit to defend our Nation.”

All of the Exchange’s 1,700+ restaurants offer better-for-you choices to support Warfighters’ readiness and resiliency as part of the Exchange’s BE FIT initiative, which highlights better-for-you meals and more.

Tropical Smoothie Café is in the food court at the main Exchange, 8651 John J. Kingman Road. It is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
