Eight Army & Air Force Exchange Service Locations Win NFL ProCamps for Kids

Eight Army & Air Force Exchange Service locations have won an NFL ProCamp for military kids.DALLAS – Eight Army & Air Force Exchange locations worldwide have won a virtual NFL ProCamp for military kids thanks to Procter & Gamble.

This year, virtual camps were awarded to Fort Drum, the Air Force Academy, Hill Air Force Base, Robins Air Force Base, Nellis Air Force Base, Fort Leonard Wood, Fort Lewis and Royal Air Force Lakenheath.

The virtual events featuring professional football players will kick off from June 24 to July 18 at www.facebook.com/ProCamps. Kids who participate in the virtual camps will get to show off their skills in prerecorded videos and ask the players questions.

ProCamps are operated by the Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Procter & Gamble and the Defense Commissary Agency.

“ProCamps are a safe, fun and effective way for military kids to get exercise and meet an NFL star,” said Chief Master Sgt. Kevin Osby, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor. “This is an ideal way for children to get their summer off to a healthy start.”

Each installation will select four grand-prize winning kids between the ages of 6 and 14—two from the Exchange and two from the commissary—to take part in the camps.

Participants will learn football skills they can practice at home while following COVID-19 safety guidelines. The winning kids will also show off their skills in a prerecorded video of them practicing a drill, and they can ask the players questions.

Pro Camps are scheduled for the following dates (all times Central):

  • June 24 (9 a.m.) – Latavius Murray, New Orleans Saints, Fort Drum
  • June 25 (5 p.m.) – Ben Garland, San Francisco 49ers, Air Force Academy
  • June 29 (1 p.m.) – Andre Roberts, Buffalo Bills, Hill Air Force Base
  • July 7 (10 a.m.) – Marquez Callaway, New Orleans Saints, Robins Air Force Base
