- Resources include an overview of Exchange services, a guide to available offerings, information about services business managers, business growth opportunities and the history of Exchange services.
- The hub also supports small-business owners by explaining vendor opportunities and how to partner with the Exchange.
DALLAS — From barber and beauty shops to financial, automotive and wellness offerings, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s (AAFES, the Exchange) new Services Hub gives military shoppers a convenient resource to learn more about the wide range of services available through the Exchange.
The online hub brings together information about the Exchange’s broad portfolio of services, which supports the Quality of Life of military communities worldwide. Visitors can explore services and learn more about opportunities to partner with the Exchange.
Eligible Exchange shoppers, including service members, Veterans, military families, Department of War and Coast Guard civilian employees, can use the hub to discover services available at installations worldwide.
“Services perform a crucial role in the day-to-day of service members and families, allowing them to take care of routine tasks more easily than having to travel off the installation,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Angela Holden, the Exchange’s senior enlisted advisor. “The new hub gives visitors a convenient starting point to learn about the services supporting their community.”
The hub includes the following resources:
- Exchange Services for Military Communities: An overview of the Exchange’s service portfolio and the ways these offerings enhance military Quality of Life.
- Find the Services You Need: Highlights the range of on-base and Exchange-affiliated services that can simplify everyday tasks. Offerings include barber/beauty; wellness/spa; car rentals and auto care; dry cleaning and tailoring; package shipping and mail; financial and insurances; pet care; specialty gift and retail services.
- Meet Your Services Business Manager: Explains how local services business managers serve as a connection between the Exchange, military communities and qualified small-business owners seeking opportunities to provide services on installations.
- Grow Your Business with the Exchange: Provides information and resources for businesses interested in connecting with the Exchange to serve military communities.
- A Legacy of Serving Military Communities: Shares the history of Exchange services and how the portfolio has evolved to meet the changing needs across the military community.
Authorized shoppers can visit https://publicaffairs-sme.com/Community/services-hub/ to explore available services at their installation. Small-business owners interested in serving military communities can use the hub to learn about vendor opportunities and begin the process of partnering with the Exchange.
