DALLAS – Buying big-ticket items can be stressful enough for Soldiers, Airmen and their families without worrying about damage or wear and tear devaluing the purchase.
The Army & Air Force Exchange Service offers shoppers a way to protect their important purchases from these risks and dangers with Exchange Protection Plans for electronics, jewelry, appliances, lawn and garden tools and more.
The Exchange Protection Plans secure major purchases from the most common threats, including accidental damage from handling; breakdowns due to heat, dust and humidity; and power surges. Protection plans can be purchased for varying length of years—up to lifetime coverage—for as little as 2 percent of the item price.
“The Exchange appreciates that Airmen, Soldiers and their families choose to spend their hard-earned money with us,” said Army Col. Collin Fortier, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service’s military community liaison. “We want to do all we can to help them protect their purchases so they get the most value for their money.”
Shoppers can easily add an Exchange Protection Plan to eligible purchases by speaking with an associate at checkout or by adding to online purchases when prompted at ShopMyExchange.com.
