DALLAS – MILITARY STAR® is offering cardholders on Guam emergency assistance with their accounts after Typhoon Mawar.
Cardholders in Guam will automatically receive 90 days 0% interest and no payments on existing balances and new purchases beginning June 5.
“The military community in Guam is facing a lot of challenges right now, and the MILITARY STAR team is providing assistance and peace of mind,” said Tommy Ward, senior vice president of the Exchange Credit Program. “We’re here to support our cardholders as they recover from this devastating storm.”
Guam shoppers who sign up for a new MILITARY STAR account through July 5 will also receive 0% interest and no payments for 90 days, in addition to the standard 10% off all first-day purchases.
Emergency relief valid for active cardmembers currently residing in Guam. Standard account terms will apply after 90 days. New purchases will be added to the existing balance during the 90-day emergency relief period. Offer for new cardholders subject to credit approval. The first-day discount for new cardholders will be applied as a credit on the first monthly billing statement.
