Exchange Doubles Savings on Gas Nov. 14-16 for MILITARY STAR® Card Users
DALLAS – As the hectic—and sometimes pricey—holiday shopping season approaches, Army & Air Force Exchange Service Express locations worldwide are doubling the discount MILITARY STAR® cardholders receive on fuel, helping to keep shoppers’ wallets from running on empty.
From Nov. 14 through Nov. 16, drivers fueling up with their MILITARY STAR® card at Army and Air Force fuel locations will receive 10 cents off per gallon of gas instead of the everyday 5-cents-per-gallon discount.
“The savings at the pump are just the beginning of the value authorized shoppers can find at the Exchange,” said Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Sean Applegate, Exchange senior enlisted adviser. “With the holidays arriving, the extra MILITARY STAR® card gas discount gives military shoppers another reason to come on post or base and see what the Exchange has in store for them.”
Every day, shoppers can reap the benefits of using their MILITARY STAR® card. Besides the everyday discount of 5 cents per gallon on all gas purchases, cardholders enjoy a 10 percent discount on all Exchange food court purchases year-round.
