Exchange Offers MILITARY STAR Shoppers Double Points on Veterans Day Weekend

DALLAS – This Veterans Day weekend, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is thanking service members and their families with some jaw-dropping deals—deals made even better with a MILITARY STAR card.

From Nov. 11 through Nov. 13, the Exchange is offering double points to MILITARY STAR card shoppers, a special ‘thank you’ to those who make everyday sacrifices to protect American freedoms.

Each dollar spent using MILITARY STAR gives card holders 2 rewards points—accumulating 2,000 points entitles the card holder to a $20 Exchange gift card. Double points will apply to all purchases except for Military Clothing items during Veterans Day weekend.

“The MILITARY STAR card is recognized as an established way for military service members and their families to build credit and one of the best ways to take full advantage of all the benefits the Exchange has to offer,” said Retired Army Col. Thomas Ockenfels, the Exchange’s Director of Staff. “Our customers are heroes, and offering double points this Veterans Day is just another way to thank them for all that they do for their country.”

The Exchange kicks off its Veterans Day Sale Nov. 11, offering exclusive savings on select TVs, apparel, handbags, appliances and computers. Prices are effective through Nov. 17 while supplies last—shoppers seeking high-demand, deep-discount products are encouraged to arrive early on Nov. 11 to ensure their place in line for the hottest holiday items.

Veterans Day sale items will also be available at shopmyexchange.com starting Nov. 11. Shoppers can get a sneak peek of items and pricing starting Nov. 4 by logging on to shopmyexchange.com, downloading the Exchange EXTRA mobile app or picking up the Veterans Day Sale flyer at their local Exchange.

One hundred percent of Exchange dividends go to military quality-of-life programs. The Exchange has contributed $2.4 billion of its earnings to such programs over the past 10 years. Use of the MILITARY STAR card furthers the Exchange’s mission to support military quality-of-life programs.
