EXCHANGE 130^TH ANNIVERSARY SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO WIN. PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE AN INDIVIDUAL’S CHANCE OF WINNING.

Prizes supplied by the Exchange

 

1. Eligibility: Exchange 130^th Anniversary Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to all authorized Exchange customers 18 years or older at the time of entry excluding employees of the Exchange (including military personnel assigned to the Exchange and Exchange retirees), its concessionaires, contractors and representatives providing in-store service and/or working in an Exchange facility, and the immediate families (spouse/domestic partner, children, parents, siblings and their respective spouses/domestic partners) and members of the households of each such employee.  Eligibility is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws.  Void where prohibited. Participation constitutes participant’s full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Regulations and any administrative decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth in these Official Rules and Regulations.

 

2. Sweepstakes Period/Entry Periods: The official Sweepstakes begins

0700 CST 28 May 2025 and ends 2359 CST 1 July, 2025.

 

3. How to Enter: The sole method of entry in the Sweepstakes is by creating a 10-second video on what you love about the Exchange and submitting it to [email protected]. Failure to submit your video to [email protected] will result in disqualification.
4. Sweepstakes prize: Three (3) entrants will be randomly selected and declared winners.
   One (1) Prize winner will receive: One (1) Exchange Gift Card. Valued at $130.00

One (1) Prize winner will receive: One (1) Exchange Gift Card. Valued at $100.00

One (1) Prize winner will receive: One (1) Exchange Gift Card. Valued at $50.00

 

5. Selection of winner: Three (3) entrants will be randomly selected from the “Exchange 130^th Anniversary Sweepstakes” by Friday, 11 July, 2025 and deemed the Winners. Winner’s eligibility will be subject to verif Winner(s) must be eligible to obtain sponsorship for admittance to base locations for sweepstake prize presentations.

 

 

 

6. Conditions: The Exchange will make the final determination as to which entries are eligible to take part in the Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

 

7. 7. Notification and Verification Process: : Winners will be randomly selected from the “Exchange 130^th Anniversary Sweepstakes” entries. The winner will be notified by Facebook message and/or email no later than Friday, 15 July, 2025. Odds of winning are based on the number of entries.  An entrant’s failure to respond to the notification message or email within three (3) calendar days of notification or in the event a notification email is returned as undeliverable may result in prize forfeiture. The Exchange reserves the right not to award unclaimed priz Receiving a prize is contingent upon compliance with these Official Rules.

 

8. 8. Prizes: One prize per entry. No prize substitution or cash redemption is allowed by Winner. Prizes are not transferrab Winner is solely responsible for taxes and fees associated with claiming their prize, including any travel and transportation costs associated with collecting the prize.

 

9. Rights: As conditions of entry into this Sweepstakes, and by uploading and entering a Submission, Entrant warrants and represents that the Submission (a) is original and has been legally created, (b) does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party; (c) has not been entered in or won previous contests or awards; and (d) has not been published or distributed previously in any media. Entrant represents that he/she owns all rights to his/her Submission, including, without limitation, the copyrights in the recording and the performance contained therein. Entrant further represents and warrants that the Entrant has obtained permission from each person whose name, image, likeness or voice (“Likeness”) is included in the Submission, and that such person(s) have granted Entrant all necessary rights to use the person’s Likeness as described in these rules, and that Entrant can make written copies of such permissions available to the AAFES upon request. If the Likeness of a minor is included, such grant of rights must include written permission from the minor’s parent or legal guardian authorizing the use of the minor’s likeness on behalf of the minor. By uploading a Submission, Entrant irrevocably grants AAFES and its affiliates, legal representatives, assigns, agents and licensees, the unconditional and perpetual right and permission to reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, publicly perform, adapt, exhibit and/or otherwise use or reuse (without limitation as to when or to the number of times used), the Entrant’s Submission, including, but not limited to, the recording and the performances contained therein (in each case, as submitted or as edited/modified in any way by the AAFES, in its sole discretion), as well as to use Entrant’s name, likeness, photograph (collectively, “Information”), and/or statements regarding his/her participation in this Sweepstakes (with or without using the Entrant’s name) in any and all media without limitation as to time or territory, and without additional compensation or approval from the Entrant or any other party. Entrant waives intellectual property rights, privacy/publicity rights or other legal or moral rights that might preclude the AAFES’s use of the submission and agrees not to sue or assert any claim against the AAFES for the use of the Submission or Entrant’s Likeness, Information or statements.

By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants are consenting to be automatically opted-in to receive email, social media and print advertisements from the Exchange and may opt out upon receiving the first advertising message.  All information will be treated in accordance with Exchange’s privacy policies and kept confidential. By participating, entrants expressly agree and specifically consent to be contacted by email, for purposes of sending Promotion-related information.

 

10. Governing law: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal laws and regulations. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participants’ rights and obligations of the Sponsors in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Federal law. Entrants, by their participation, agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate Federal court.

 

11. Disclaimer: The Exchange reserves the right to remove any entry for any reason without notice to the entrant. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the “Authorized Account Holder” of the email address submitted at time of entry. Authorized Account Holder means the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the Authorized Account Holder. The Exchange, its promotional and advertising agencies, and contractors (the “Released Parties”)will have no liability and by entering into the Sweepstakes, entrants’ release and hold harmless the Exchange and Contractors from any claims, suits or causes of action arising out of any damage, loss or injury to person or property due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of participating in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered, or mass entries or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices are void. Acceptance of prize shall constitute and signify the Winner’s agreement and understanding that the Released Parties have not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or mechanical condition. The Exchange is not responsible for: (i) lost, late, misdirected, damaged or illegible entries; or (ii) error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information by the Exchange on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or any combination thereof; or (iii) any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you (i) agree to be bound by these official rules, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of the Exchange, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Official Rules may result in disqualification. The Exchange reserves the right to: (i) Permanently disqualify from any Sweepstakes it sponsors any person it believes has violated these Official Rules; and (ii) withdraw the online method of entry if it becomes technically corrupted (including if a computer virus or system malfunction inalterably impairs its ability to conduct the Sweepstakes), and to select winners from among all eligible entries received prior to withdrawal. The Exchange reserves the right to substitute prize(s) of equal or greater value should the featured prize become unavailable. In the event that any of the Sweepstakes are postponed or cancelled due to circumstances beyond the Exchange’s control, the Exchange reserves the right to schedule an additional Sweepstakes in place of the one postponed/cancelled.
