Retired Gen. Larry Spencer discusses his new book, “Dark Horse,” which chronicles his rise from humble beginnings to become one of only nine African Americans to earn four stars in the Air Force. His resiliency, drive and determination led to an inspirational career, which culminated with his assignment as the 37th vice chief of staff of the Air Force.
