Military spouses are silent heroes, an essential part to the strength of the Nation. They serve just like their loved ones, providing support through missions, deployments, reintegration and rest.
Dear Military Spouses,
A service member’s family is their source of strength and resiliency. My father always said he was all in for the Army as long as his family was taken care of. My mother earned her final resting place at Arlington National Cemetery just as surely as my father did.
On Military Spouse Appreciation Day, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service extends its heartfelt gratitude to you for your unwavering love and support of our Nation’s Warfighters. Through deployments, TDYs, PCSs and more, military spouses provide the runway that allows service members to soar.
Since 2013, the Exchange has hired more than 35,000 military spouses as part of its goal to hire 50,000 spouses and Veterans by the end of 2020. Our appreciation and connection with military spouses runs deep and we are truly honored when they choose to join the Exchange team.
