Special emphasis programs promote a positive workplace culture where associates at all levels with different backgrounds, lifestyles and abilities are respected and are given the opportunity to succeed.

Special emphasis programs focus on communicating diversity awareness and inclusion strategies and support the Exchange’s core value Respect Everyone. The groups provide a supportive learn-by-doing environment and mentoring group members in the successful execution of events.

ABLE supports disABLEd associates by providing eductional tools and reasonable accommodation information to our managers as well as our associates. Our mission is to achieve a workforce in which disABLEd associates are represented at every level in the Exchange.

BRIDGE Logo

The African American Heritage Special Emphasis Program BRIDGE (Building Resources in Diversity of Growth of Employees) advocates equal opportunity in the area of personal development. We promote opportunities to improve our diversity program and make the Exchange the Employer of Choice.

Exchange PRIDE! presents an opportunity for all associates to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBTQ+) equality in the workplace and community. Allies focus on the common purpose of advocating for the interests of our LGBTW+ workforce and can come from any orientation. Like all Exchange SEPs, Exchange PRIDE! will contribute to employee engagement, talent development, and all other Exchange business objectives.

The HEROES program recognizes the contributions and sacrifices of Exchange associates and retires who are military veterans, their spouses and family members. 45% of our US work force are veterans and military spouses. 85% of all Exchange associates are connected to the military in some way. The HEROES group celebrates and highlights the accomplishments of this critical component of associates who are the foundation of our "We Go Where You Go" customer pledge.

This vibrant community of associates adds value to the organization with creative ideas and valuable insight. The ¡HOLA! mission is to contribute to organizational success by creating an environment that fosters the self- development and retention of Hispanics, thus promoting diversity and inclusion goals.

In the Native spirit, we approach our jobs with integrity, humility, resilience, clarity of mission and collaboration.

The mission of POWER is to increase work-life balance as we build needed skillsets for professional development, provide alternative resources and tools to enhance working conditions, collaborate with peers to become more knowledgeable and create a networking venue in the workplace.
